A teardrop of fine silver clay has been imprinted with the delicate leaves of the thalictrum plant for this sweet botanical teardrop necklace. After the refining and firing process the necklace has been dipped in an oxidizing liquid to darken the silver.  After, it has been hand polished to bring out the lovely veining details of the leaves. A truly one of a kind necklace.

Fine silver clay consists of fine silver particles and an organic binder.  After forming, drying and refining the piece is fired in a kiln.  During this time the binder burns off and the result is a piece that is .999 pure silver.
