This lovely poppy necklace is in the shape of a teardrop and is hand formed from fine silver clay, which is .999 pure silver.  It’s reminiscent of a field of poppy pods.  The pendant is accented with 24K gold.  It hangs beautifully from a sterling silver cable chain. A rich patina has been added to accentuate the details and adds a brilliant depth to the pendant.

Fine silver clay consists of fine silver particles and an organic binder.  After forming, drying and refining the piece is fired in a kiln.  During this time the binder burns off and the result is a piece that is .999 pure silver.
