Handmade from impressions of miniature ginkgo leaves impressed into fine silver clay. The beautiful pendant hangs from a sterling silver oval chain. The pendant and chain were given a darkening patina, and then polished to a satin shine; leaving the patina in the recesses of the ginkgo leaves details leaving a beautiful contrast.

Length is adjustable from 17 1/2 inches to 19 inches.

Fine silver pendant is square 5/8 inch by 5/8 inch.

Sterling silver oval chain.

Sterling silver hook clasp accented with seed beads in varying shades of green and blues. 

Fine silver clay consists of fine silver particles suspended in an organic binder.  After forming, drying and refining the piece is fired in a kiln.  During this time the binder burns off and the result is a piece that is .999 pure silver. After firing it has been tumbled to bring out the silver shine.  Lastly it has been dipped in an oxidizing agent and the piece has been polished by hand to bring out the beautiful details of the ginkgo leaves.
