Delicate petals from a hydrangea flower were imprinted into fine silver clay to make these botanical earrings.  A patina has been applied to bring out the details of the hydrangea petals.

Length, including ear wire, is 1 1/2 inches by 1/2 inch wide.

Fine silver metal clay consists of fine silver particles and a binder. After forming, drying, refining the piece is fired in a kiln.  During this time the binder burns off and the result is a piece that is .999 pure silver.
