The technique I used for this bracelet is called wax resist. I made my ovals, drew my pattern on the dried clay and outlined that with a liquid wax. I allowed this to dry and used a sea sponge to slowly remove the clay to reveal the pattern. No two pieces are exactly alike with this process. I then fused fine silver oval links to connect everything together. The bracelet is finished with a rich patina and buffed to highlight the design.
This bracelet measures approximately 7 1/2 inches long and is adjustable to 9 inches. It's finished with a sterling silver lobster claw clasp.
