Delicate leaves from a Queen Annes Lace plant was imprinted into fine silver clay to make these botanical earrings.  They have been shaped into a diamond and hang from hand forged sterling silver ear wires.  A patina has been applied to bring out the details of the lacy leaves.

Fine silver metal clay consists of fine silver particles and a binder.  After forming, drying and refining the piece is fired in a kiln.  During this time the binder burns off and the result is a piece that is .999 pure silver.
