Handmade from an impression of a real ginkgo leaf impressed into fine silver clay. The beautiful leaf hangs from a sterling silver oval chain. The pendant and chain were given a darkening patina, and then polished to a satin finish; leaving the patina in the recesses of the design allows it to really stand out.

Fine silver clay consists of fine silver particles and an organic binder.  After forming, drying and refining the piece is fired in a kiln.  During this time the binder burns off and the result is a piece that is .999 pure silver.
