This unique ring is made from an impression of a real snail shell.  The shell is approximately 5/8 inch round. The size of the ring is 6. 

Fine silver metal clay consists of fine silver particles and a binder.  After forming, drying and refining the piece is fired in a kiln.  During this time the binder burns off and the result is a piece that is .999 pure silver.
