Delicate angle wing begonia leaves dangle from hand forged sterling silver ear wires.  A mold was made from the leaves and fine silver clay was impressed into the mold.  The leaves were refined and a patina was added to bring out the details of the leaf pattern.

Length is 2 1/4 inches, including ear wire, by 1/2 inch wide.

Fine silver clay consists of fine silver particles and an organic binder.  After forming, drying, refining the pieces are fired in a kiln.  During this time the binder burns off and the result is a piece that is .999 pure silver.
